About Aureus

Where are Aureus products sourced ?

Our cultivations and extraction facilities are located in Santa Marta, Colombia and are licensed to cultivate and process cannabis for the production of cannabis extracts and purified cannabinoids including cannabidiol (CBD) and tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). We also source from Colorado and Oregon in the United States a broad range of products produced in partnership with one of the largest extractors and manufacturers of CBD and CBG in the US.

Can you deliver to EU?

Yes.

What extraction process do you use?

We use ethanol extraction.

How experienced are your lab technicians and quality assurance teams?

Our Team has more than 10 years of experience leading production processes in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industry who oversee our extraction and refining process. The QC and QA teams are composed by chemical engineers, microbiologists, and biochemists professionals with experience in pharmaceutical companies ensuring a State of the Art level of quality control analysis and quality assurance.

Are Aureus products certified?

Our hemp is certified USDA Organic and all our cultivation and laboratory projects are GACP/GMP compliant and will be certified shortly.

How much does your CBD cost?

Which countries have you successfully distributed to?

USA, Colombia, Uruguay, Chile, UK, Germany, Argentina, Peru and South Africa. New jurisdictions can be evaluated to determine their viability.

Can you handle orders larger than 100+kg of isolate?

Yes.

Is shipping included in the negotiated price?

No, shipping is not included, however our team will be happy to help secure a quote and coordinate shipping.

Who takes care of the logistics? Do you deliver the seeds at out site?

The seeds must be picked up by the purchaser in our facilities or shipped by the agreed terms.

Do you give technical support to plant and grow your strain? Is this included in the seeds price or do you charge extra for this?

Basic technical support is included as well as an agronomic management sheet (Ficha de Manejo Agronómico) that is attached at the time of closing the purchase.

What is the minimum order? Can we get a small sample for free to run tests?

This will be evaluated on a case-to-case basis. The minimum quantity for sale is 5,000 seeds per variety.

Which finished products do you offer?

Currently we have a catalog of CBD, CBG and THC products that you can view in the product offering section of our website. We also offer custom formulations and products by request.

Once we place an order what are the lead times to get the seeds?

Once the purchase order has been approved by the seller and the purchaser has paid 100% of the price, the seeds will be immediately available for pick up at our facilities or shipped at agreed terms.

Are the seeds feminized?

Avicanna’s team have sourced premium cultivars and have developed unique genetics, through proprietary breeding techniques to provide a diverse range of stabilized and feminized cannabis and hemp cultivars.

What is the estimated germination rate? Do you provide a germination guarantee?

We evaluate on case-by-case basis to understand the planting environment. The purchaser pays for the full amounts of seeds. Germination rate is 95-99% as long as you follow the agronomic handling sheet. If the germination rate is below the one represented in the packaging of the seeds for causes directly attributable to the seeds, we would replace the number of seeds that were out of specifications. However, if the non-germination is attributable to external factors they would not be replaced.

Can we produce clones and seed from the seeds bought? Can we resell them?

No. Our seeds can only be used to produce flower. Our genetics are federally registered and IP protected. For sublicensing, please contact us at info@aureussantamarta.com

Our first order should be around 4,000 to 10,000 seeds. What is the estimated price per seed at this range? Do you have a range of prices in relation to the quantity purchased?

Are the genetics adaptable to different weather conditions (high/low temperature, high relative humidity?

We have a versatile genetic portfolio depending on your growing conditions. Our genetics adapt to different climate conditions, as long as you follow the agronomic handling sheet (Ficha de Manejo Agronómico). Please contact us for more information.
