Avicanna’s breeding and seed production programs takes place in the foothills of Sierra Nevada of Santa Marta through its fully licensed cultivation subsidiaries, Santa Marta Golden Hemp S.A.S and Sativa Nativa S.A.S.
We utilize organic and sustainable farming practices and leverage on our optimal microclimate conditions of low relative humidity and 12 hours of natural sunlight, which allows for consistent and reproducible crops all year round. Santa Marta Golden Hemp cultivation is USDA organic certified. 30 Federally Registered Commercial Genetics have gone through full evaluation and characterization, registration with the relevant Colombian regulatory authorities and are permitted for both domestic sales and exports.
Avicanna’s team have sourced legendary cultivars and have developed unique genetics, through proprietary breeding techniques to provide a diverse range of stabilized and feminized cannabis and hemp cultivars.

Avicanna’s Aureus brand of cannabinoids sourced from the United States¹ (“US”) are available in a broad range of products, produced in partnership with one of the largest extractor and manufacturers of CBD and CBG in the US. Aureus is providing leading genetics, and sources of highest quality crude oils, distillates, and isolates sourced from American hemp production across several states. All hemp cultivation is conducted in compliance with the US Farm Bill and applicable state laws and further supported by extraction and processing licensed by state departments of health. All final cannabinoid API are tested using validated methodologies for heavy metals, residual solvents, aflatoxins, mycotoxins, pesticides and cannabinoid
content in line with EU and US pharmacopeia.
